I' ll have one strait treated soon and I'm not worried about the procedure but I'm worried going on for panicking during the procedure. I've begin to "panic" at the dentist while in the bench even during a simple filling. Last time I started to nouns because I couldn't swallow, etc., and had to receive up and walk around, own a drink of water up to that time going back, hugely shaky. I'm worried that for this procedure I won't be able to seize up and take a break if I have need of to. Does anyone who has have this procedure know if there are moments where on earth I could have a break? I'll pocket a Valium (I don't think gas, etc., is really great for the health) but do you cogitate that will be enough to hold me calm and hopefully semi-sleepy and not caring/thinking too much in the order of what's happening? Also, this is the first upper molar (behind the "canine") - will I hold to be stretched out lying down? It makes the entail to swallow even worse! Can we move the tongue and swallow under the "rubber dam" (plastic sheet)?
Answers: Hey hun you will be fine its not that discouraging it doesn't really feel any different after a filling except you can perceive them packing your tooth a little near the new root its simply a little bit of pressure resembling your biting into a hard candy if ya purloin a Valium you will be fine just walk in transport a deep breath and relax
I enjoy a friend who had a root strait recently and she have a history of panic attacks
so they put her to sleep
but she said it costs more so..
