I had 2 teeth extractions, and I have a check up tomorrow, what should I expect?

Question:

there are still bits of teeth in the hole or whatever,
is he taking those out, or will it just be a check up?

I'm worried because it hurt so bad last time,
I'd rather he just left my mouth alone.
