Will it be painful?

Question:
In a couple of days/weeks, I'll be getting one of my adult tooth pulled out so I can let another tooth come out. The tooth is stuck in my gums so I'll also need to get my gums cut open surgically so they can move it. And then later, I'll get braces. I might even need to pull a second adult tooth.

So, rate each step(pull adult tooth, surgically cut gums, get braces) on a scale of 1-10(10 being extreeeemely painful) cause I'm pretty nervous and want to know what I'll be in for >__>

Some tips to ease the pain(or anything else) would be loved too.

Answers:
Ive have 2 out of three of those things done...1 of them was getting braces which only hurt for the first couple days but those days can be pretty painful so ill rate it at a 5 and the 2nd is having surgically cut gums and that wasn't so bad because i had prescription pain killer so it was about a 1 the first time i had it done and a 2 the second time it was done

Have Fun!
I would guess it all depends on your pain tolerance. I will admit I have a high tolerance for pain and I have no dental issues(Knock on wood)! I will say that when I had my wisdom teeth pulled it didn't really hurt. I had antibiotics and some swelling but no real pain. Or maybe I took so many drugs I don't remember it. Honestly think it depends on your tolerance. I think some ibuprofen ought to take care of it.
i don't know how well you tolerate pain --- so i don't know how much it will hurt...but take the painkillers that i'm sure they'll give you --- and most of all KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!
if you worry and stress about it too much, i'll be worse
personally, i had my wisdom teeth taken out, and i really don't even remember how much it hurt, so it couldn't have been that bad --- i'm sure it'll be similar for you
ease the pain with painkillers, and just treat yourself well...pamper yourself while you're healing
dont panic - dont forget u will get plenty of local anaesthetic so u shouldnt feel a thing. if u do feel anything then ur dentist will stop immediately and give more anaesthetic.u will prob feel a bit of pulling and tugging but that should be about it really !there is absolutely no reason 4 u to experience any pain at all . take codeine based painkillers as soon as u can swallow ( aspirin based tabs can encourage bleeding) and then start on the ibuprofen 6 or so hours after. good luck and i really hope that u will be pleasantly surprised by how well u manage!
