Question:
Ive had a tooth with first a cavity, then pain, then for a long time it just had a big hole in it. Today while eating I broke about 1/3 of it off. It doesn't hurt, but last time a doctor even saw it they said it had to come out of there. I don't have insurance and will have to wait weeks to go to the sliding scale clinics. Is there anything I can do to help myself out until then?
Answers:
It sounds like the nerve has died and it's not abcessing at the moment. So you should be ok for while. At your local drug store they sell some temporary filling material that your can pack in there to protect it from food and junk from getting in there. It might help with hot/cold sensitivity till then too. As son as you can afford it, go.. infection is no laughing matter.
yea, go to canada...free health care!
