Black line on tooth?

Question:
It is pain free and I have had it for months. IT is on top of one of my molars? help me pleaze!

Answers:
It can only be a stain needing a dental cleaning. If the dentist suspects that it is a cavity, he or she can put a sealant or a small filling on it.

It is the beginning of a cavity. You need to get it taken care of before it gets into the pulp where the bacteria can really start to grow. Plus it will get infected & the nerve in your tooth will start triggering pain.

Get it fixed now before you lose your tooth.
Sounds like a hair line fracture. Teeth can get fractured too. See a dentist because after awhile you WILL start having pain.
