Why do i drool so much in my sleep?
Question:
Answers:
It's not very glamorous, but almost everyone drools in their sleep. Sometimes dreams will activate the salivary glands. Also important enzymes in the saliva are working to combat bacteria. It is possible you are a mouth breather. You can kind of train yourself to breath through your nose with "Breathe Right" strips, found off the counter at yr pharmacy. If you are a mouth-breather at night you may have sleep apnea. Do you wake up feeling out of breath in the middle of the night? Actually you can do this without knowing it but if you wake in the morning tired and unrefreshed this may be a factor, especially if you are overweight or drink a lot.
when that happens to me it's when I'm real tired; other times are when I didn't brush my teeth before going to bed.
I know that's not quite the answer you were looking for but it might lead you somewhere else.
