How do you get braces on?
Question:
how do they get right to teh bakc of your teeth and put them on correctly?
does it hurt aswell
well pain isnt an issue anyway, how do they keep you mouth open?????/
Answers:
they keep the mouth open with a plastic thing that holds your mouth open
they put the brackets on with a glue/cement stuff
they will hurt for the first few days but after that they wont cause much pain for you
lol, well, they glue on the little support dealies...you've seen them, that's what you see on the teeth themselves..
Now on the back teeth they wrap your molars with a band and attach the wires there. Then the wires go all the way around of course...and they tighten then every month or so.
It hurts for about 2 to 3 days. Get used to soft foods and soups at this time.
It's nice when they come off because they are so rough for many months and all of the sudden they are smooth like glass...they almost feel slimy after they're off.
good luck
They kind of like glue them on each tooth and they connect a wire through them all and tighten it. They put some plastic thing in your mouth that keeps it open.
they will dry & clean your teeth.
then cement the brackets on.
then they MIGHT fit metal rings around your molars.
then they will put the appropriate arch wire on.
finally they will apply the snazzy rubber bands around the bracket to hold down the arch wires.
it hurts.
trust me.
dentist will place a plastic-like in your mouth with a quick dry cement(something like that), he will ask you to bite it
after the cement will dry he will know the structure of your teeth.
it doesnt hurt
