Question:
Answers:
Bruxation (teeth-grinding) can damage teeth in adulthood.
Consult a dentist.
I would consult the doctor or dentist on that one. It is not good, no.
No mine did and do that too. It's normal they are just finding out that they can use them, it's annoying but eventually they will stop... they are just baby teeth anyway, no harm to them.
Yes. You need to get a mouthguard. This could be a long term problem...
Thats what children with autism do. Get that checked out.
put a mouth gard in her mouth at night. she is ruining her teeth and you will have to pay for it eventually. i would suggest looking online for teeth guards for infants that grind teeth. my sister grinded her teeth and her teeth got shorter and shorter. i suggest taking her to the doctor asap. thanks.
don't worry i use to do it myself, since she is so young you can take her to the doctor but don't fret over it
You dont have to take her to the Dr, but you can buy a spacer for her available at drugstores intended just for that purpose.
I have been grinding my teeth forever, there are a number of reasons why, but please let your doctor/dentist explain them to you, along with why she may be doing it.
It can cause TMJ, she can grind down her teeth, or she could end up with severe pressure headaches from the nerves being exposed. It can also be a simple fix, this early on.
Regardless, go see your doctor/dentist.
Not sure if it really matters at this point in her life but once she gets her permanent teeth then you'll want to get her a mouthguard, i think there called. Otherwise she will grind her teeth to the nerves and be in pain, then have to get crowns. I have this problem too.
I have a niece who grinds her teeth alot... we brought her to the dentist to get them check out.. the dentist said we can't give her any sippy cup or it well damage her teeth.
soo acouple weeks later we had to bring her back to the dentist to get them pulled out.. cause they were damaged
soo i figured you should get them checked out... you'll probably need a mouth gaurd... but see what the dentist have to say
