I have just got Immediate dentures?
Question:
Answers:
Getting dentures is both a physical and emotional trauma. It is going to take some time for your mouth to heal and for the dentures to feel like a part of you. Since they are immediates, their initial fit was educated guesswork.
With the partial, they should be able to tighten up the clasps that hook onto your remaining natural teeth. I would let the dentist know what your issues are and be your own advocate and go in and see the dentist when you feel something is not right.
Try to set small goals as far as what you expect to accomplish with your new teeth every day. Reward yourself when you reach your goals but do not punish yourself if you fall short today.
I've been through it and it is harder than everyone imagines.

as for the healing it takes a few weeks..they may be uncomfortable for a while...ask the dentist what they would suggest to keep them in place. sometimes they may be able to recomend something for your specific partial or denture. some may work for one but not ot well for the other...most of those adhesives are only temporary and loose strenght with dinking cold or hot foods or sodas and stuff but ask the dentist he will be of great help
Sir, healing of your wound would take u around 10-15days,and for your dentures it would take around a months time to get going with your normal habits of chewing, your sppech would become clear by aweeks time, as u said upper dentures, fit would not be aproblem as the lower denture has less bone support ,u would feel its kinda not fitting, once u get it relined it would help ur retion of your denture, ask ur dentist about MBS system of complete denture ,your dentist is the right person to help u
