I my braces are hurting!!?

Question:
Is there any way 2 help stop the painfulness of braces besides advil and wax. My braces hurt so much i could cry and its also my sescond day with them on.

Answers:
Don't worry. . . you shouldn't be fussing because think how many people can't afford braces! you are lucky. . . i get mine off in 5 days. . . in the beggining i used wax and stuff. It has only been two days for you! thats nothing! it'll get better. . . if they really hurt then just go back to the ORTHO and tell them. . . but its completely normal for them to hurt! just suck it up and try to deal with it. . .
the first few days with braces will be more painful, but don't worry it doesn't last for long. if you have ora-gel (its meant for babies when they're teething), it seems to help if you apply it to your gums. don't worry in a few days they won't hurt at all
try lidogel / lidojel a topical anesthesia (causing temporary numbness), it's a gel, you could apply to your cheek inside, and you wont really feel the pain..
try sucking on a popsicle or eat icecream or a shake, use the wax they give you, keep taking the meds. You will eventually get used to the pain. And, in a few days, your teeth will start to feel better and there will be less pressure.
Hate to break it to you but my braces hurt for about 3 months after they were put on!! I really don't won't that happening to you. If you do the right things to help it not hurt then it should go away after a week or two. Trust me you;ll be OK. I hope that makes you feel better.
