Question:
One of my teeth randomly gives off a stinging/throbbing/pulsing feeling for just a split second every once in a while. It's not all that painful, but it's incredibly annoying. I was at the dentist not too long ago so I'm not sure it's a cavity, and it's also much close to the root so if it was I'd probably not enjoy the filling that came along with it. I have very sensitive teeth anyway, that doesn't feel good w/ mostly cold but that one tooth doesn't feel too bad with cold, so could that be what it is?
Answers:
hmmm idk, but try a sensodyne toothpaste, and after a while if it still hurts then its probably not basic sensitivity and you should go to ur dentist.
most probably, it's caused by the 3rd molar, because it pushes the other teeth, so they feel the sensitivity and send the signal to the brain and it becomes pain (as a sign)
it may be caused by cavity also.. but as u said before," One of my teeth "randomly" gives off a stinging/throbbing/pulsing feeling for just a split second every once in a while" so it is not only in one tooth, most probably it's caused by the wisdom tooth
for sure, just take a panoramic radiograph, it's only once and less exposure, give it to the dentist and the dentist could identify the problem well
