Power Chains.Braces.Rubbe... Bands.?

Question:
I've had braces for 6 months. My teeth were never crooked, but this was just to make it EXTRA perfect. lol.

Anyways, yesterday, I got rubber bands, and new wires. What does it do? lol

Oh, and will I ever have to get a power chain? The filed one of my tooth, and now there's a bit of a gap. It's not big, but I don't know how they're going to close it since all the teeth around it are straight..... =/

THANKS IF YOU ANSWER!
=D

Answers:
They'll give you a chain if theres a gap probably next time.

The rubber band pull your bite so you teeth connect perfectly like if you look at the vampire ones on the side wear the rubber bands it took me 3 extra months cause I didn't wear them.

New wires move your teeth more as they get thicker.
I think they only use powerchains if the gap is really big. The braces should be able to close a gap pretty quickly if it's not that big.

Rubberbands are usually for closing an overbite/underbite or to allign your jaw.

I'm sure you'll be fine and the braces will close the gap. But ask your orthodontist just in case.
Hope I helped! Good Luck!
THEY R GOING TO PUT A CHAIN TO BRING THE TEETH TOGETHER
TO MAKE SURE THEY DONT LEAVE ANY GAPS
