My molar has been hurting. It has a big hole in it and I know I need to have it filled. Will a dentist be able to tell that I smoke just by looking at my teeth?

He is a dentist he sees smokers stained teeth many a patient but unless this is going to get you into some kind of trouble whats to worry about.
most times they usually do...this is usually detected because of the color of your teeth...but u shouldnt worry about that, go fill that tooth quick, before u may have to extract...and for health purposes, u should try ur best to quit smokin!!
