Wisdom teeth healing helppp?

Question:
well i just got mine cut out four days ago. im feeling alot like myself. today was the first day i could walk around, and do stuff. i started rinsing my mouth with warm salt water, and warm water, on and off. how long do you think it will be until i heal? i know i have a follow up appoinment friday and i think they are cleaning my mouth out with a syringe? anybody know exactly what they do? and when i can eat real food?

Answers:
Your gums will heal within a week.

There might be a hole left though, which will take at the most 3 months to be covered because bone takes longuer to heal, but you will not feel pain, just a bit of food buildup.

The dentist usually takes a plastic syringe to rinse your holes with either water or a disinfectant solution, that is completely painless.
