I'm 15 years old, and I just went to the orthodontist for the first time. I am going to need braces. I wanted Invisalign, but he said they wouldn't help my condition. So, I wanted to get clear braces, being that I can't get Invisalign. But, I did a little research when I got home, and came across the Damon Sytem 3. It's supposed to be less painful, and, most importantly for me, cut the length of treatment time by six months. I'm skeptical about this, though. Does it really lessen treatment time? I'd definitely go with the Damon System 3 if I can get my braces off 6 months sooner, but the clear braces are less noticeable and more attractive. What should I do? Any other information about the Damon System would help, too.
Also... 3 of my second molars haven't come in yet. Do I have to wait until they come in to get braces?

You probally don't have to wait for your molars to come in. And I think you shoud just get the clear braces. The Damon System 3 is risky and dentist don't really like it. You'd probally be much better off with the clear braces. Good Luck. I hope I helped!
