My 7 1/2 month old son is getting his upper lateral incisor before his central incisor. Normal?

Question:
He has his two bottom central incisors, and now I can see an upper lateral incisor coming in. Normally, the upper central incisors come in first. Is this a problem?

Answers:
Sounds like that lateral is in a rush! LOL

Seriously though, they may all pop in at once... try to be patient and see what happens.

If you're really stressed, call your pediatrician for a consultation...and maybe some peace of mind.

Worst case scenario: the upper centrals are congenitally missing.

Good luck!
