Getting my 4 wisdom teeth out taken at once?
Question:
Answers:
I had my four wisdom teeth taken out a week before school started; I was fine. The only thing that happens when you get them taken out is that you can't eat hard foods.
You'll just prolong the ordeal if you take them out one at a time.
good 4 u
Actually if you take them out one at a time it will probably be longer drawn out and you will miss more school.
You will need about 5 days, actually, I'd say a week, to be honest. 5 days for the top, and add another 2 on for the bottom (the bottom are less painful). Also, you'll be needing painkillers, and you can't take them and go to school. Your face will return to normal after about a week.
heck...yes
Its best to take all the pain at once. I had all my wisdoms taken out at the same time and I am glad I did it. I was out for a long time. It really depends on the person. I don't heal well so it took me a week. My cousin just had hers done and she was good to go by two days, but couldn't eat real food for 4 days. Sooo its really up to your healing status. GOOD LUCK!
That will be tough. I had them all surgically removed and I was bedridden for several days afterward, just didn't feel like getting up. For at least a week I couldn't talk, had my mouth filled up with cotton and was slobbering blood into a trash can every few minutes.
It is probably best to get them all out at once and be done with it esp. if you are experiencing pain that is unbearable and itll save you dental problems that may occur in the future they say some need pain meds. for a couple of days later and some go off eating a full meal it depends on your level of pain tolerance..
I dunno...once you have one out, you may not want to go back. You should be fine after a couple days. I had mine out with Novocaine but I think getting knocked out is better. Someone who recently got them out started taking a relaxant ahead of time are you doing that? Good luck.
yea you should be fine, you feel your worse the day after and the 2nd day. Just dont open your mouth really wide at schOol ((like yelling or anything)) and you might not be able to eat much but you should feel okie! good luck
Do it all at once! Get it out of the way! You'll swell up the first day and then its all smooth sailing towards the night of the second day. They'll give you enough meds to knock down an elephant, so relax and enjoy the legal buzz. Good luck in school -which sounds more painful than the extractions.
It's going to hurt for a couple days, but you should be better enough to function at school. I don't think it hurts any less to get just one out vs 4. So if you do them one at a time you will go through this 4 times instead of just one. Get them all done. Plan on not doing anything for the couple days after and you should be well enough when you go back. Good luck!
i think you will be fine for school.... you just may not be eating normally because of soreness and or swelling.. i had all four done, and in my opinion it was better than one at a time. good luck to you
Get it all done at once... you should be able to go to school in three days. You really don't want to do it over a period of time, trust me.
I had all four of mine out and it's not so big of a deal if you do what the dentist says. If you have any questions, ask them.
I mostly felt sore in my jaw area for a long time. Again, just be careful for those first few days so you can heal. The best part is when you wake up and realize it's all over. :)
my crazy dentist wanted to remove my 4 wisdom teeth also, but I told him he was crazy... He said "you have Spring Break coming up, and it will be a good time to get your teeth out" I said "yeah sure, you're crazy.
He thought they wasn't going to grow in, well thats been over a year and now I have all 4 wisdom teeth in great condition...
Thats my story...but i cant really answer your question
Well it all depends on you. I had dry socket after having all mine removed at once and I thought I would die. It took me about a week to get straight. If you are Lucky and don't have any problems you may be able to go back to school. It all depends on you.Getting one out at the time has the same risks and not to mention having to recover one at a time. I suggest doing all at once and getting it over with.
