If you get veneers and you don't like them, can you change them?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, you can change veneers--with other veneers. This can be handy if you need to replace a broken one or if you're looking for a different shade (color). However, if you get veneers placed on your teeth and decide later that you no longer want veneers, you're out of luck. The dentist (I'd recommend a prosthodontist for this procedure) has to permanently remove some of the enamel layer of the tooth's surface to make room for the porcelain material and adhesive.
Fear not...procedure is relatively painless and the veneer materials out there are absolutely excellent and have been used (and improved) for over 20 years with great results. Veneers are great for covering up deep stains (like those caused by tetracycline), for closing up a gap, or for making minor alignment corrections. A word of advice -- pick a natural looking shade that matches you. If you go for the bright white smile, it can look fake and blinds other people a city block away.

Sure, just need to redo the whole thing again. But here is the tricky part is your dentist willing to do it for free? I always check with my patients to get approval with anterior restoration before I cement the final crown or vaneers. And for some reason the patient doesn't like with new restoration for any esthetic reason my office replace the restoration for free. So talk to your dentist.
