my hubby a chicken when it comes to dentist..
Answers: First of all, if the tooth is fully erupted, it wishes a routine extraction, not a surgical extraction. A surgical extraction, by definition, applies to soft tissue and/or bony impacted teeth. Unless you are in a elevated cost area of the U.S., $254 semms a moment or two steep for anextraction done by a general dentist. The duty for a surgical extraction in the midwest is contained by the $170 range. Maybe a second view would help you compare and clarify. Good luck!
I have a wisdom tooth pulled and it be only $100 .and that be without any insurance
Sounds approaching your dentist is out for money.
