Yes I was aware but was so happy I could have cared less!! Please don't stress over this the dentist will take all necessary precautions to make you comfortable.

I never understood why they called it laughing gas. I had it once when I was a kid and saw kermit the frog dancing with the dentist. lol
Laughable
It's a great light feeling like you are so comfortable and aware of things yet floating on a cloud. It's great as soon as it's over you aren't high, sick or anything like that.

it made me feel relaxed and worry free. its great stuff. well if you are relaxed and happy it will make you feel that way.
It gave me really bad room spins. Unfortunately I was aware of what was happening. I would never do it again.
I had laughing gas and it was great. I was aware of everything that went on and I was not nervous of anything (I have fear of the dentist) I had conversations in my head and you feel like you are answering and talking out loud when in fact you are not. I also got the laughs with it. I had it a few times and all experiences were very pleasant. Coming out of it was no problem, I didn't feel groggy or anything. I recommend it especially for fearful people or when there's a big job to be done.
Peaceful, and sort of happy, since my brain felt slightly euphoric.
