I was wondering does glue braces hurt im getting them done friday?

1) i want to know if braces hurt. my from teeth is just a little slanged.
2) also can we get wires that are white inside of metal color.
3) do they have to pull out anyteeth just put braces on .

they'll hurt for the first 3-7 days. it'll be a sore pain, not a sharp pain. it's hard to bite into things. really make sure your wires aren't poking out before your leave the orthodontist though, cause that's really really painful.

wires are metal, not plastic, so you can't change the color of the wire. there are two types of braces, one's where you can get colored bands that hold the wire in, and one's where you can't get colors. i wouldn't advise white, though. cause it'll get stained really easily. like, one glass of fruit punch and you're done for.

if you're getting them on friday, they would have told you if you were going to need teeth pulled. so probably not. good luck!

Been wondering why this happened. Anesthesia (put under) reaction?

1 - It hurts only when you first get them. Chew sugar free gum, it takes a lot of the pain away. Or take advil. I would rather chew gum...tasty and you can have it right away.
2 - My orthodontist doesn't provide colored metal. And I doubt any of them do. And white isn't a good color. It becomes discolored and you stick with the same wire throughtout the whole process unless it breaks.
3 - It depends on the person if they have to pull teeth. Usually they will wait until the teeth fall out. But you probably will just have them put on. If they have decided the date already then they probably won't have to pull any teeth.

1) braces only hurt when they are put on or right after adjusting
2) some wires are white but not all orthodontists or dentists have them
3) sometimes they pull some bicuspids usually they don't
