Hi Red! First of all these may not be cavities and you could just have a stain. This is normal. Most cavities are above the gum line or on the biting surfaces of your molars. I would relax and not get upset. Often if you floss and brush ofter with a whitening toothpaste these stains will disappear. Next time you go for a cleaning, the hygienist can polish them away and you will be fine. Don't fret. The cost for a filling varies because of size and how many surfaces of the tooth are involved.
