How to get breath better?

Dental floss. Dang, don't you hate hearing that? Flossing teeth once a day makes the biggest difference. There is also a mouthwash named Closys that you can buy at Wallgreens or online. It doesn't have a flavor though it comes with a small bottle of peppermint oil that you can add that to taste. It is the best and if you brush your tongue as well as floss and then use that, you should notice a difference. I noticed a big difference when my daughter who has chronic bad breath started doing this.
use mints
Try "BreathRx" toothpaste and mouthwash. It works great. Also check with your dentist to make sure your gums are healthy. Bad breath is one of the signs of gum disease.
I have heard that chewing gum stimulates the salivary glands to produce more saliva, causing your breath to worsen. I'd say mints would work much better.
I just started using Dr. Katz's breath remedy mouthwash. I think it's called Therabreath (I'm at my office & the bottle's at home). I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I like it a lot. It's available at all the major drug stores and chain stores like Target. I use it to erase morning breath and it really works. Read the circular that comes with it and follow the instructions (rinse with it for 1 minute after brushing, and don't drink any water for at least 15 minutes after). They suggest using it twice a day, morning and night, but I've been getting a good result just using it before bed. The circular also talks about why other breath remedies don't work. The effectiveness of this one has something to do with eliminating the dryness and sulfur-creating bacteria that cause bad breath.
Make sure you floss everyday. Be carefull with mints and gums with sugar because on top of bad breath you may get cavities. Stick to sugar free. Also yogurt helps with bad breath.
You can use a strong mouthwash. You can also bring a toothbrush to work or school and brush your teeth their.
if you smoke, stop smoking or try to cut back- smokers have bad breath. Also, make sure that you don't have cavities or infections.
Floss and brush well- sometimes food gets stuck between the teeth and it causes bad breath. The only way to remove it is to floss.
If you're on a low-carb diet, that could be causing the problem (the Atkins breath). You can either change the diet, or just use a mint until you get to the phase where you eat fruit.
Drink enough water- a dry mouth can smell bad
Check your blood sugar- diabetics often have bad breath
