I've swallowed an expensive crown that was loose. Ummm. On average how long before it re-immerges so to speak?

Question:
Not the sort you wear.

Answers:
My son did the exact same thing about 5 years ago. It took less than 48 hours for it's grand appearance.
It depends on how often you go. I hope you are only looking in the interest of making sure you pass it, and not so you can remove it and get it put back again. Ewwww.
A couple of days, i think. what about the Oceans Eleven way.
I'd start panning for gold from when your first urge arrives and until you find it. Don't ever stop looking. hehe
Glad it's not the sort you wear old sport, you'd be in trouble then.

How to answer this without getting horribly gross...hmmm...

Well on average when something that your body cannot digest works its way through your digestive system it can take anywhere between 3 - 12 days to work its way through and finally return on the other end.

However, a ride through your body is no pleasure cruise. Im not sure what crowns are made up from but it will take a hell of a beating if it survives (the acid in your stomach for a start!) and even then it will probably emerge battered, bruised, and definitely unusable without sterilisation. (Not just a wash. Ask your doctor).

My advice would be to talk to the dentist and tell them what's happened. I think you'd be better off getting a replacement.

A friend of mine ate a key off my laptop computer a couple years back and he tried (and failed... yuck) to return it to me. I didnt touch it but i saw it and it was mostly intact, just a bit battered.

But that's enough of that.

Hope i've helped.
why in the blue hell did you swallow The Rock is from the wrestling section jabroni
couple days if you dont get appendicitis. i wouldnt put it back in my mouth though. Eww!
depends on what you eat. strangely enough theres a news report about a thief who swallowed an expensive necklace.. :)

try eating bananas and chicken curry its the fastest way.

*supposedly*

*note to self dont get fillings worth money lol*
Anything from 2-14 days, depending on the speed your body works at. Thats not the the problem, the problem is the search and find mission. Every day from now untill you find it. (Best check from the first day in case your super fast, you wouldn't want to search for 7 days only to realise that it has been in vain as it is already gone!) Just eat more and try eating the stuff that you know has quickened the process in the past. Good luck
What ho !
A predicament.
If it is any help, I swallowed an emerald out of a bag that I thought were peanuts.
I do not wish do seem disgusting, but I pood the next day onto a floating wad of kitchen roll, and lo and behold, after poking around, an emerald.
Not the best state of affairs, and I suppose it depends on your diet and natural passing of stuff.
My big emerald was fine for a gold ring, but I think a good dose of dettol or similar before having a gold crown re-installed in your mouth might be wise.
Best of,
Bob
ha ha hahah aha hah ahh ahhhahah ahahahaha
