Laser whitening - is this true?

Question:
I heard that laser whitening can give your teeth (reall teeth, not veneers) a blue tint.is this true? Do you think it would ok to do it just once?

Answers:
I don't believe that I have heard of this as a side effect in my 15 years of being a hygienist. It would be a major deterrant to laser whitening. Sensitivity can happen, but not a permanent blue tint...
JAMRDH - a dental hygienist
Laser can really do that but that will leave your teeth demineralised. Prepare a remineralisation fee if you want, cus demineralised teeth gives you sensitive teeth.
