How do i get bubble gum out of my retainer??!?


Question:
i got my retainer when i got my braces off but a couple weeks ago i got bubble gum stuck in my retainer. its plastic, like invisalign. HELP! i go back to the orthodontist next week and i need it out by then!

Hi! I'm been in dentistry for over 25 years. Listen. Take a bowl with ice cubes and water. Put the retainer in it. When the bubble gum freezes GENTLY scrape is out with finger nail or cuticle stick. DO NOT USE a knife or screwdriver etc. because this could crack the retainer. Remember, carefully. If you have any other questions, please ask. Marie
