Laughing Gas?

~Michael~
Ok well, I am getting my caviries filled tomorrow and I am scared to death of getting a shot. My relatives say Laughing Gas will make your mouth numb so you don't feel it. But I want to know the truth. Does Laughing gas work?

what do they do when they replace a broken bracket thats all the way back in your mouth?

Answers:
Laughing gas should work fine. It will make your whole body feel numb and tingly. However the shot will not be as bad as you are anticipating. Before the shot they will use a topical anesthetic to numb your gums. Some people don't feel anything, others may feel a pinch that will only last for about 3-5 seconds. I think you will be fine without the gas. Also not all dentist are equip to use laughing gas.

Is there medicine for scratches on your gum?

laughing gas will work great you wont feel a thing and the shot will not hurt at all

How do teeth obtain pallid or stained next to braces? How can i prevent it?

I had laughing gas and it work okay. BUT if you don't in hale it that well you will feel everything. But when the surgery is done you may have to throw up. Laughing gas feels someone is tickling you and you feel like you are floating on a cloud.
