What is a good dinner for somebody with new dentures?

Question:
My Mother just got 13 teeth pulled and is getting her top dentures as we speak. Me and my sister are cooking dinner for her and would like to know what is the best meal for somebody with new dentures. I know soft foods and everything nothing spicy and stuff but I would like to know what I can make as a full meal. Going shopping after a bit so I need to know what to buy. Thank you all for your help!

Answers:
Definitely need to take it easy for a few days.. Remember she's healing underneath that immediate denture, so for now go for soft stuff like Chunky Soup. I love that stuff and that's what I tell my patients to eat for the first few days after putting in an immediate denture. :-D

After healing for a few days, she can work herself up to more solid food.

Hope this helps, and good luck.
Tuna casserole, or spegetti should be good.
any kind of soups or ramen noodles or spagg with or without the sauce .
Mash potatoes ,mac&cheese ...rice & beans ..

Hope your mom's gum's heal real fast!
Bless her heart and your's too for cooking her supper!

God bless!
Tuna noodle casserole. It has all she needs in nutrients and is soft to eat. Tell her good luck with them.
mash potatos and smoothies.
Wow! Tell your mom I hope she has a quick recovery! For people that have dentures they should eat a salad, soup, soft vegetables, tender chicken! Make sure drinks don't make to much stain on the teeth! I hoped I helped because my grandma had the same thing and now she eats chips but she crushed them up! ANd mashed potatoes! Good Luck and I hope your mom gets better!
