Is it true that you shouldn't use whitening toothpaste when you have braces?
i heard that if you do, you have this brace pattern on your teeth when you get your braces taken off.
Answers:
Whitening toothpaste is ok since all it really does is help remove stain that accumulates on the surface of the tooth. Whitening toothpaste very rarely achieves actually changing of the tooth color. However, you don't want to use an actual whitening product (like aquafresh trays or whitening gel) since it could whiten the exposed tooth but not what is under the bracket since the area is sealed off with cement.
Hope that helps!

what are the best things to eat when first getting spacers, then braces?
Yes, you can definitely get a pattern on your teeth from doing this, though that can happen whether you use whitening toothpaste or not. You also run the risk of damaging the metal your braces are made of.
Wt does it feel like when u have braces on?
When I had braces my dentist said it wouldn't hurt to use a whitening toothpaste, although you shouldn't use too strong of one because that may bleach your teeth a lot whiter than what's under the brackets.
yea, don't use it.
Does LISTERINE over time ruin the enamel of your teeth?
I used it and i turned out fine. Just dont bleach your teeth and be sure to floss a lot cuz tons of crap gets caught in there. Bread is the worst.
My temporary crown was bit in half?
I don't know for sure, but I read a article that said when your braces are removed, the parts of the teeth that were covered with the braces, will not whiten, so yes it will look like a pattern on the teeth. I suggest that you wait until they are removed and then use the whitener. As it can be expensive.
Wisdom teeth make you smarter?
It really doesn't matter. I suggest high fluoride toothpaste that you need a prescription for it so ask your dentist or orthodontist.
