Question:
I have this whhiite spot on my tooth in the back. i wasn't able to see it because it was hiding behind my other tooth I just got pulled out. Is this white spot the beginning of a cavity, and if I continue brushing, will it still turn into a cavity?
Answers:
Its sounds like dacalcification, which is the start of a cavity. If it is still in just the enamel you can keep it from turning into a cavity. Keep brushing at least twice a day for 2 minutes and floss daily. Trying adding a fluoride rinse to your routine like ACT.
It may be a lack of calcium or it could be the start of decay. The only way to get rid of decay is to get it drilled out, otherwise it will continue to decay weather you brush it or not.
