New teeth?
Im 13 and my last baby tooth is about to fall out, the new tooth underneath has come through my gum but my babt tooth is still ontop of it - and not wobbly. Im going to the dentist soon but can anybody suggest what might happen?? It is one of my back teeth, but it is making my gum hurt!! Please reply useful comments.

If you cant get it out yourself, the dentist can take it out. you should have nothing to worry about. Its really simple, they will numb you up a little bit and take it out. Should only take like 10 minutes. That doesn't mean you need braces, just because it was taken out. If braces are necessary they would be either way.

This happened to my son. They pulled out the baby tooth and put him in braces. He was your age.

If the adult tooth is 'under' the baby tooth, chances are it will push it out naturally, or at least make it loose enough for you to take it out yourself.
Your gum is probably bothering you because you are 'teething' and the new tooth is trying to come in.
When you go to the dentist, they may take an xray to see how much root is left on the baby tooth, if any, and then decide the best way for it to come out.
Don't worry too much about this...start wiggling it to give it a jump-start!
