I need to get braces and I was wondering what are the pro's and con's of braces and invisible braces?

Question:
I hear that metal braces can cut your mouth and be painful. I'm thinking of getting the invisible braces, but I'm not quite sure on how difficult or cumbersome they are. Does anyone have any recommendations or preference and if so why? I'm worried about the any pain, aesthetics's and cost. Can anyone help me out!

Answers:
I had metal braces for two and a half years and they really aren't that bad. Yes, they were painful, but only for the first couple days after each tightening, and nothing that couldn't be taken care of with some Motrin or Tylenol. They never cut my mouth; the only very minor thing was that sometimes a wire would poke, but an orthodontist can correct things like that.
Ivisaligns do not correct all orthodontic problems so this is something you have to discuss with your orthodontist not something someone on here can help you with.
dont get clear or white cause they will stain and it will look horrible. call in and ask for valium and trust me it works way better than nutrious oxide.
