How much should i pay the dentist to remove my tartar?

Question:

Answers:
I would be about $100.00 for a regular prophylaxis (cleaning) at most offices. However, if you have a considerable amount of build up (tartar, plaque) then you could require 2 visits where 1 half of your mouth is cleaned OR 4 visits at one quarter of your mouth each visit. There is a difference between a prophy (one visit) and periodontal scaling (multiple visits), not only in cost but the amount of time and care.
Good luck

Its not up to you on how much you wanna pay. Its up to him on how much he wants to charge.Your'e just gonna have to decide if the price is fair.
There is no limit as to what you should pay to get that funky stuff off of your teeth. You could have prevented having to pay the dentist a dime if you would of brushed your teeth and flossed in the first place.
I'll remove your tartar for 10 bucks and a bucket of chicken.
you have to pay as much as he charges for that job.
