Food? Braces?

Question:
My friend got her braces and right after got a cheeseburger and some french fries. Don't you have to eat food like pudding, mashed potatoes, jello, etc.?

Answers:
Well did she start eating that right after she got braces? When I got my braces, it didn't hurt for the first hour or so, but it will get very sore soon. I couldn't even brush my teeth for the first week or so, let alone eat barley anything. All I ate for the first 2 weeks are so was rice with soup which was really bad. Then after a couple of weeks I was able to eat solid foods like steak, but for the meantime it would be hard eating cheeseburgers...
your not supposed to eat sticky chewy hard or sweet stuff, but I do anyways
How could she it? When I got my braces went to Mickey D's right after and I got some pancakes. I couldn't even eat those. For the first few days of having braces phsically chewing anything is a challeng, actually using your teeth in any way is a challenge. It even hurt for me to brush. Your friend must really have some kind of pain restrictions of something beacause a hamburder would definately be painful.
Yeah, that is when your teeth heart that you can't eat solid food. But if they don't hurt them you can eat what ever you want.
