Will you still end up losing a root canal tooth years down the road?

Question:
I heard that after several years you will still lose it

Answers:
Talk to your dentist to find out if you should get a crown placed on the tooth after you have the root canal. I lost a tooth that did not have a crown placed. If your dentist is a good dentist they will know what is best for your situation. Somehow if you do need a crown and cannot afford it, get it done anyway. It is very, very important
Most likely you will. Root canals make the tooth brittle and are easily broken or chipped. Once broken, you can get an infection and you'll lose the tooth. Go for an implant!
Not necessarily, particularly if the crown is done well.
believe me, you will!
thats not always the case. sometimes your tooth can fracture down the line and you could lose it. but if you put a crown on the tooth it will keep it a whole lot more stable for more years than if you just put a filling in it.
