i feel you , im a smoker 2 and i just got mine pulled the other day, im hearing mixed reports on this one... ranging from 8 hours to 1 week, heres what i did, i got myself some nicotine patches if you smoke a pack a day 21mg any thing less than a pack 14mg very important u get the patches not the gums or lozenges so u let the mouth heal obiously, but yeah contact your dentist, get some patches , give it some time... youll feel alot more comfortable with those patches, just plz take them off at bedtime, otherwise you will be geting some VERY strange dreams as your body is not used to taking in nicotine when your asleep, best wishes and a speedy recovery :)
