Strange Sores?

Question:
Well...I dont know, I have like..developed a canker sore, and Im not sure what to do. I mean a lot of things cause them... but Im scared though. A lot of people say that when you have a canker sore, that means you probably have STD or something... but then again I read up on them and it said that being stressed can cause them. or like discomfort to the mouth (I just got braces too) What do you think I should do...I need some heavy advice..

it is probably the braces i had braces now i have retainers and i keep bitting the inside of my lip and i keep getting sore i don't think its anythign you should worry about
You're thinking of a cold sore. That's a form of herpes. The canker sore is caused by bacteria in your mouth. My little brother gets them all the time, and they were worse than ever when he had braces.
Put the wax stuff on your braces and go buy, I think it's called "Canka" but I'm not sure. It'll help with the discomfort
Hi there, if you just got braces and didn't have the sores before you got them, then I am almost sure that this is what caused them. If they get worse or don't go away, go see you're dentist and he can probably prescribe an ora base medication (that you put on the sores) to ease the discomfort and help heal them. Good luck!
If it's a painful open sore inside your mouth it's probably just a common canker sore, not an STD. See the article below. It seems to describe the symptoms pretty well.
the site one above is good! thanks!
