How long should I expect the pain from a pulled wisdom tooth to last?
I had one of my bottom wisdom teeth pulled on Monday. I had my top two pulled before and the pain went away quickly and there was no need for painkillers. However, this still hurts and the dentist even prescribed a painkiller for it. Someone told me that the bottom ones are harder to remove and more painful then the top ones, and this did seem true when he pulled it. I just want to know when I can expect it to stop hurting so much?
Also, how can I tell if I have dry socket? I know it hurts a lot, but currently, my tooth hurts a lot. Any other ways to tell?
I also cannot open my mouth fully, which I read on numerous sites, that can happen. About how long will that last?
I am not sure if this goes along with the wisdom tooth or not, but I am also losing my voice. Could this be from the tooth extraction? I had a minor sore throat before, but it went away after the tooth was pulled, but it still could be from that I guess.
Im really scared. Dentist help out?

1 week pain, that is, unless they hit an artery like when I had mine taken out. Then it will be 2 months pain and $8000 in repair costs to the artery.

I had to have surgery done on mine bcause it was growing out wierd which was causing my bottom teeth to get bunched up together, anyways, it took about 5 days to go away..but I had the pain real bad too, like I could not open mouth fully.
you'll feel discomfort for about a week or so. but their shouldnt be any extreme pain.
i had two done , opposite sides and it was pretty painless. the doc kept talkting to me about baseal and he said what he was gonna do next and then when back to th b game. the next thing i think i knw it was was both other. he put me in a room to have the anesethsia where off. my dh drove me hoome amd we stopped at a jewish jelli for motzo mall soup. the doctor had given me tylnel three for pain. i took two of these immmedi. but did not eat soup. when i got home / when itwas prspcriped i took two more tablets. i felt liek eating about fifteeen mins later. i took one more pill and went to bed. the next day i would take one pill every four to six hours and then i took two to get to stleep. after that i went on advil for a couple days and i can say that i had ZERO pain. i took the prescriptioj beacause i was afraid i was gonna get pain.he idd not hurt me at alll i justt i was luckly
