Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years. The trays are a thin plastic that we make from a custom mold from your mouth. The only fit you! Then you put the gel in the trays, insert and wear. They are very comfortable because they are small and cut to fit only over your teeth. The whitening gel is put in the trays and seal the whitening material against our teeth until you remove them, rinse and wash the trays. It is not a big deal and you will have wonderful results. The trays are small enough that you can talk or sleep with them and it will not bother you. In fact after a few times, you won't even know you are wearing them.
