Dentists, please assist! I'm a hygienist beside a put somebody through the mill...?

I'm a dental hygienist. We have a tolerant in our department who is a teenager, but have the mental capacity of a 3 year matured. He has a severe underbite, and because of it have ground down all of his mandibular anterior teeth. Our doctor placed crowns, and the long-suffering has repeatedly broken them rotten. She (the dr) recently re-placed the crowns, and the pt have since RIPPED them off and flushed them down the toilet.
What would you do? We're at a loss. The crowns aren't working for him... The nearest and dearest doesn't have deeply of money, so ortho and surgery are not an option... What are your suggestions?
Thanks contained by advance for the back...
(Also, are there any other websites for question like this that are not youqa.com? Maybe this grill would be better suited for a dental site...)

Answers:    There is nothing more to do except label the patient comfortable. Someone resembling this with an incapacity to recognize treatment should not be receiving crowns, ortho, or surgery.
You should do the minimum treatment compulsory. Eventually she will lose her teeth and will have to function short them. I certainly wouldn't be trying to sort dentures.
um im no dentist im only 15 sorry, but conceivably you should try explaining to him that if you keep them contained by till like the subsequent time that you want to see him he gets a treat approaching candy(obviously sugar-free) and see if he does that and tell him not to in reality rip them out cuz he wont get candy - construct sure that the sees you frequently so that he doesnt forget roughly speaking your candy, if he does rip them out and he comes back and is expecting candy, in recent times say try again and put the crowns contained by and tell him that this time he can acquire candy if he doesnt rip them form his mouth and dispose of them.
