Answers:

good luck
Blindfold him or knock him out!
Gerber Grins & Giggles toddler toothpaste is clear.

Good luck!
My dentist told me that the actual toothpaste is not important. All it does is refresh your mouth. the brushing action is what he needs to do.( The dentist`s got beautiful teeth and doesn`t actually use toothpaste!!)
It's the movement of the brush that actually cleans teeth, not the toothpaste; using toothpaste basically has the same effect as eating a mint. If you can't stand the thought of him brushing without toothpaste, try mixing toothpaste with water and dipping the toothbrush in it; it will still have the same "refreshing" effect and won't be visible at all (especially if the brush has coloured bristles, but it will even work on white ones).
You can get really funky toothpaste thats blue with stars in it :)

Im a dental nurse and a rep brought loads of samples in. I thought the stars was a good idea, makes it a bit more fun. It was last year but i think its made by Colgate.
Its important to use something, children need a certain amount of fluoride to prevent cavities.

good luck!
As a mother of 2 (teenage ) boys with perfect teeth - I can tell you that this is just a phase he is going through. Tip no 1. Have 2 toothbrushes one with a little paste on and the other none. After a while he will choose to try one with toothpaste.
Tip no.2 - your son doesn't need toothpaste. You can wash his mouth (gargle) and teeth perfectly ok with just a brush. You can ask for flouride tablets from the dentist ( my Dutch friends used to crushed them into breakfast cereals!). Just make sure you keep acidic and sweet things to the minumum and always always gargle and/or drink a glass of water after meals or sweet treats. Good luck and stay well x
tesco's boots, etc, most do strawberry etc flavoured types
I don't know any adult's tooth paste which is clear, so he'll probaly have problems when adult. Get him used to seeing toothpaste.
