When should my stitches come out/?

i had to go in hospital to ave my wisdom teeth out was bout two weeks ago. doctor said that he put dissolvable stitches in but they still havent come out. has this happened to you? what should i do?

Nail biting how many people here do it and enjoy doing it?

Answers:
Leave them alone, they will eventually dissolve. Don't pull or tug on them as you will only make your mouth sore. You could try rinsing your mouth out with either mouth wash or salt water to stimulate them into dissolving.

A couple question around braces...?

You're fine...nothing wrong with it.

Does anybody know what you need to do to get a Dental grant if you have sever problems that total over $15,000

It's possible for them to last that long. They will come out eventually. But in the mean time, do not pull on them or try to take them out. Just ignore them the best you can & if u just can't take it anymore, call the Dr. & see if he'll remove them for you (quick & painless)

Can I eat extremely hot or cold foods with braces?

Ignore them - they're like a kettle, if you keep watching them, they'll never go!

(Honestly!!)

Daughter is 5 and a molar coming surrounded by?

It has happened to me before. If you are bold enough, check if the gum area has sufficiently healed. Then gently cut the stiches yourself. Don't remove the thread. Let the gum area heal by itself.
