I get braces the time b4 yesterday and hurting stopped but...?

but i want the gap surrounded by my 2 front teeth (which is why i got brace) to close the fastest opening possible, and during the first day, the perforation closed a lot, but in a minute, that the hurting has stopped, it isnt closing, will it close any more even if its not hurting? cuz i dont wanna dally until next month when they tighten them :)

Is it okay/ locked for me to obtain braces?

Answers:    Its great the space have closed some. Most of the time Orthodontists with start out patients beside a light rope that works months at a time, and this first wire typically works out most rotations... when you bring back into a thicker wire is when you will start to close space
