Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years and the cost depends of which tooth. Molars have 3 or more roots while front teeth have only one. The cost varies because of that. In the US the average cost is 750.00. Followed by a Post and core and Crown and that is another 1200. It is no longer painful, so the jokes about "I'd rather have a "Blank" than a root canal are all history. In fact sometimes a filling can make a tooth hurt more if it is deep and near the nerve.
Get it done as soon as possible so the infection does not spread and you have jaw pain from that. If is no big deal with today's methods. Years ago a root canal took 2-3 visits at least. Now we can do an entire molar and filling in 1-1/2 hours. If you have any other questions, please ask. M
Not all that sure about cost's but i have had it done twice and to be honest it is not a sore as anyone makes out and I hate the dentist. Its more a pressure than anything else
ARRRGGGH. I'll pay a dentist for him not to perform root canal on me.
Very costly £300+, very painfull and not guaranteed to work.
Pull it and get a plug in.
The root canal was 150 and the crown was 300.
not sore, if you get working tax credit or child tax credit you get it free in UK
Hi If you dont have insurance it may cost 700+ I just went to the dentist a week ago and found that out, but check to see if you have a dental school in your state. Dental School students do good work for a way smaller fee.
As far as i know it is one of most expensive dental treatments.
It hurts like H*ll.in the mouth and in the pocket!
Depends whether you're going Private or NHS. If NHS, if you go onto their site you will see the three band price range which will give you an idea.
