Rub 'ambisol' on your lips or gums to stop the pain... Also contact your dentist to see if there is anything he/she can do about it.
You can get some wax to put on the brackets.
ya i think mcdonalds is fattening
they usually give you a thing of wax to put on the brackets so they dont rub againist ur lip! if they didnt give u that ask them for some.
rub soap in your mouth it works
it will go away,,they will give you a little pain every time you go and get them tightened also,,but the pain wont last too much longer ,and when you get them tightened ,it will be an anoying pain ,not painful, but your lips are not used to them yet,so their will be a little friction until you get used to them,,in the meantime take a couple bayer or something it will help
ask your dentist for some wax sticks. and maybe get some Orajel to take away some of the pain
If your braces are just new then this is normal and they will settle down. You can get wax strips to rub on which helps a little bit. I found not talking helped! If you have had them on a while then maybe there are some wires that could be trimmed down so make an appointment with the orthodontist. Its so worth all the pain, keep at it. You soon wont know they are there, honest!
