My husband had the same problem recently. Some dentists offer payment plans. I would look into care credit. just search it online for providers.. i believe the website is www.carecredit.com or call around and ask anyone if they accept care credit.

Basically, they just approve you for a certain amount through an outside source and then you get the work done and just pay it off monthly like a normal credit card. the interest rate isn't that high, and its not hard to get approved either.
Your health comes before everything else.

If you delay your surgery you risk worsening your dental problems which will lead to even larger costs and potentially damaging your teeth even more.

Sure it will be expensive. But if you delay you risk spending more money on a larger, more expensive procedure in the future and you risk worsening the health of your teeth!
Your going to need to find someone that will bill you according to your income, or see if they have a payment plan. Not many dentist's do. Otherwise, your tooth will have to wait until you can afford to fix it. There is also a company called care credit, that also helps loan the money for denistry bills.
Go to a dental school. They may do it for free. If you don't have a job get one. See if the dentist will let you make payments. Good Luck.
Some offices will work out a payment schedule with you. You should look into that first and see what they have to offer. We had a financial company that we worked with that would loan you the money for 12 months interest free so you could make payments to them and they would pay our office in full for the work.
Depending on what country you live in, they have emergency dental treatment areas in some public hospitals. Also though it will depend on the urgency of the matter as to when you can get onto the appointment list, as there is usually a waiting time period.
the only thing that you probably can get done not having insurance is get the tooth pulled. if it gets really really impacted you will really not have a choice. if the tooth is just chipped then you probably can get a filling. sometimes fillings can really save a tooth( if you can afford it). i had to have a tooth pulled because i don't have insurance and my tooth went rotten (it hurt really bad) but if i could have had a root canal or at the least a filling to save my cracked tooth i wouldn't have needed it pulled.
Check and see if one of your hospitals has a dental/school/teaching program, they generally will do dental work at a reduced price or by income or what you can afford. You can call a medical collage in your area and check.
Hope this helps
Sometimes dentists will tell a patient he/she must do something right now. You may have sometime(a few weeks to a few months) if there is no pain or swelling. In this time, investigate options for paying for the treatment. How far is the nearest dental school? Will your dentist offer financing? Can a friend or relative lend you some money? Can you charge the treatment on a credit card? If none of these options work for you, and you go to an adult state funded dental clinic. The dentist there can remove the tooth to help you be rid of pain and swelling. Then you will have to get a false tooth. I don't like this option.
