Is it possible to get a lisp from having having your teeth chipped and then having fillings put on them?

Question: i just chipped a bunch of my teeth and went to the dentist. He put filling on them and sanded a lot of my other teeth down.

how do i know if i have a lisp or am i just being paranoid??

Answers:
Give it a couple of days. Whatever caused your teeth to chip may have also caused a bit of swelling. It is unlikely you've developed a lisp from your recent dental procedures.
