For orthodontists?

It takes between 45 minutes and an hour and a half, depending on the ortho's experience and if you are putting braces only on your upper teeth, or all of your teeth. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatme...
Hiya, I'm not an orthodontist, but I've had braces for 4 years, got them out a few months back.
Anyway, it will take around 30 minutes to put the braces on.
Your orthodontist will clean your teeth first, then apply glue, then stick the bracket on, then add the wire, then ask what colour band you would like and wolla, they're on.
He won't opperate at all, you may need an xray ( Nothing scary, just bite on this white thing and stare into a screen ! )
And he will also probably take before and after pictures, which you can buy at the end of your treatment to see the difference ( Which will be amazing )
After you get in your braces, about 1 day after, your teeth will hurt and feel sore, you will need to eat soft foods and brush your teeth and the brace well.
You can ask your orthodontist any questions you have and he should talk through how you clean them with you, if not ask him.
Good Luck.
