Is it on top? They will probably be as gentle as possible. First they will put some topical number on your gum so you won't feel anything but a little sting when they give you a shot to really numb you. They will wait until all you will feel is some pressure when they pull your tooth. Don't tense up, it will be better if you can relax. I know it is tense for you, but think when you are sitting there one hour from now I will be doing this, that or whatever, this will be over and I am fine. This is only momentary. It does help. Depending on how out of line the adult tooth is they may give you a retainer. I had the same problem myself, and got the retainer. Good Luck.

Yes, it could hurt. Especially if you are sensitive to mouth pain. However, your dentist can numb you up.

well since ive had so much done to my mouth, it doesnt hurt me. usually they ask you if you want it numbed or just "laughing gas" i always chose laughing gas. you still don't feel anything. it will be sore for a few days after. but you will be fine :)

They will Numb U 1st and pull it out.That happened to me at 13. I think U may need braces or a retainer to push it.
they will numb you once your numb it should be no pain you'll feel some preasure but not sharp pain. not sure about the retainer part ... how old are you ? everyone is different so dont panic if your not just like your friend thats ok...
