Do dental Braces bestow children surrounded by dull pain?
SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!
Answers: my son is 11 and got his braces put on within Feb 2007. He complained a bit about the affliction on the first few days but it was managable beside Advil or Tylenol. When he gets his braces tightened, he is fine for the first few hours and next has a bit of headache for the next couple of days, but again it is managable next to Tylenol. He eats softer foods on the days following his Ortho appointment and is usually fund to eating "normal" food contained by two or three days. He says his mouth is sensitive while brushing after a tightening as okay. However every child is different as is their pain tolerance. Good luck to you and your son. I do regard if his dentist thinks he should draw from the braces he should, it has help my son so much and his self esteem is much higher than it be before braces.
I have them at age 12 and they took some getting used to, but they didn't "hurt" like most nation say they do. But I guess everyone's mouth is different.
